Job Purpose:
Ihsan Relief and Development is seeking volunteers to join our team in supporting the humanitarian work we do in the Gaziantep office. We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by crises and conflicts.
This volunteer position is an opportunity for those new to the NGO world to start their journey and develop their skills while supporting our team during work pressure. We believe this position can be an excellent start for those who want to pursue a career in the humanitarian field, and we are committed to providing on-the-job training to enhance your skills and support your growth.
As a volunteer at Ihsan, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of professionals who are dedicated to making a difference. You will be involved in various aspects of our work, including but not limited to logistics, administration, and program support. You will also be able to attend internal training sessions and workshops to develop your skills and gain knowledge in the field of humanitarian aid.
We offer the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the humanitarian field, develop new skills, and contribute to our mission of supporting vulnerable communities.
Note: The Candidate must comply with IhsanRD’s policies and procedures with respect to the safeguarding, Code of Conduct, PSEAH, data protection, and confidentiality, do no harm principles, and unacceptable behavior protocols.
The ideal candidate for this position will be:
- Committed to humanitarian work and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of others
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing situations
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English, Turkish is advanced.
